Here at Detroit Sports Nation, we have been calling for the head of Matt Patricia longer than anyone in the business, yet, the Detroit Lions continue to allow him (and Bob Quinn) to run the franchise further into the ground.

After the Lions' latest loss to the New Orleans Saints, a game in which Lions had yet another double-digit lead, there are very few people who think Patricia should get even another week as head coach.
But, according to Dave Birkett and Carlos Monarrez, they believe Lions management will not fire Patricia. At least not right now.
Birkett and Monarrez posted a video on Monday and they both agree that Patricia is safe through the bye week.

Nation, do you agree that Patricia is safe for now? When do you think he will get fired?
