When the point spread was initially released, the Philadelphia Eagles were listed as a 7.5 point favorite over the Detroit Lions.
That spread did not come as much of a surprise to anyone as the Eagles are considered a Super Bowl contender while most believe the Lions are a long shot to win their own division.
Thanks to a plethora of injuries, everybody and their brother seems to be betting on the Lions as the point spread is all the way down to Eagles -5 at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas and down to Eagles -4.5 at a couple of other sports books.
