Detroit Lions way-too-early 2023 game-by-game predictions [Vol. 1.0]

The Detroit Lions 2022 season is officially in the books, and following their impressive 20-16 win at Lambeau Field over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, they finished with an overall record of 9-8. The fact that the Lions had a winning season after winning just three games in 2021 is pretty darn impressive. That being said, things are just getting started in the Motor City, and you can bank on it that the Lions will have an even better team in 2023.

How many games will the Detroit Lions win in 2023?

As soon as last night's game ended, the Detroit Lions' home and away opponents for 2023 were finalized.

Now, we don't know exactly when the Lions will play each team, but here are my way-too-early game-by-game predictions, Volume 1.0. I will likely update this again following free agency, the 2023 NFL Draft, prior to the start of training camp, and prior to the start of the 2023 regular season.

So, without further ado, here is how I think the Detroit Lions will fare in 2023.

As you can see, at first glance, I have the Lions going 12-5 in 2023, including running the table at Ford Field.

Nation, how many wins do you see on the Lions' 2023 schedule?

  1. I am a Lions fan transplant out here in KC. I am thinking that L will be a W with a 42-7 win for the Lions. :)
