Fresh off a world-shocking victory at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers, the Detroit Lions are going through final preparations to prepare for the Oakland Raiders, as they visit Ford Field this Sunday. Although the Lions were fortunate enough to come out with the victory last weekend, that particular game took a toll on the team, especially in the injury department.
Cornerback Josh Wilson was lost for the season with a “significant” knee injury. Another cornerback, Nevin Lawson, is listed as questionable after going through concussion protocol this week. Safety Don Carey is also listed as questionable with a back injury.
Defensive tackle Gabe Wright is officially out for Sunday with an ankle injury.
Players receiving the “probable” tag for this week are: DE Ziggy Ansah (toe), RB Joique Bell (shoulder), WR Calvin Johnson (ankle), DE Jason Jones (not injury related), P Sam Martin (back), and S Glover Quin (ankle).
