Detroit Lions Week 2 opponent suffers huge blow

When the Detroit Lions host the Los Angeles Chargers this coming Sunday, they will be doing so with a few big breaks.

We already knew that the Chargers will be without RB Melvin Gordon and S Derwin James, but on Wednesday, the team announced that TE Hunter Henry suffered a tibia plateau fracture to his left knee and will miss Sunday’s game.

Henry is an important part of the Chargers offense and this is certainly a big break for the Lions.

But only if they can take advantage of it.
