In less than 2 hours, the Detroit Lions will look to move to 4-3 on the season when they host the Indianapolis Colts at Ford Field.
Just moments ago, the Lions released their Week 8 Inactives List, and as you can see, LT Taylor Decker is good to go! Unfortunately, CB Desmond Trufant is still out with an injured hamstring.

DETROIT LIONS WEEK 8 ROOTING GUIDE
After defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons in back-to-back weeks to move to 3-3 on the season, the Detroit Lions are right back in the playoff hunt and with an upcoming schedule that looks very manageable, they could make a run.

If the Lions want to make the playoffs, they will have to handle their own business, but they may also end up needing some help.
Because of that, we are going to be continuing our annual series of Detroit Lions weekly rooting guides so that you know which teams should be rooting for each week if you are want to see the Lions in the playoffs.
First of all, we will not look at AFC vs. AFC matchups as they have no bearing for the Lions playoff chances. In addition, you should root for any AFC team to beat any NFC team since the Lions are in the NFC. So, root for the Miami Dolphins over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
That being said, here are the NFC vs. NFC matchups that you should be paying attention to. NOTE: The Falcons already beat the Panthers on Thursday night, which is a good thing for the Lions.
