On Wednesday, the Detroit Lions announced they have placed Matthew Stafford on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Stafford was reportedly in close contact with a non-team person but as long as he does not test positive for the virus between now and Sunday, he will be eligible to play against the Vikings.
In wake of the Stafford news, a report has surfaced that the Lions are working out QB Jordan Ta’amu. In addition, they are working out LB Daniel Bituli.

Even if the Lions need to sign Ta’amu, or another quarterback if Stafford cannot play, expect for Chase Daniel to be next in line with David Blough following.
