With their loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, the Detroit Lions dropped to 3-4 on the season, which puts then a game out of first place in the NFC North.
As the NFL trade deadline approaches, it remains to be seen if the Lions will be buyers, sellers, or if they will just stick with that they have.

One Lions player who has been mentioned on and off when it comes to potential trade candidates is Golden Tate. Tate has been the Lions most consistent receiver on the team since the start of the 2014 season but he is also in the final year of his contract.
So the question is, are the Lions set on bringing Tate back for the 2019 season or would they rather try and trade him now to accumulate some draft capital?
One team that is reportedly interested in dealing for Tate, according to Ian Rapoport, is the New England Patriots.
This does underscore why the #Patriots have had conversations about trading for a WR. They are particularly interested in Demaryius Thomas and Golden Tate. Tomorrow should be interesting. https://t.co/7WHi9dBpIF

Tom Pelissero notes that though Tate’s name is one that has come up as the trade deadline approaches, it would take a lot for the Lions to move him.
A couple notes from The Aftermath with 24 hours until trade deadline: #Raiders still shopping veterans, including Bruce Irvin, and keep an eye on Golden Tate, though the #Lions would have to be blown away to move him. @nflnetwork pic.twitter.com/nAZW6d35bQ

Nation, would you like to see the Lions trade Golden Tate or are you convinced they would be better keeping him and trying to extend his contract?

Detroit Lions DL Ricky Jean Francois calls out teammates following loss to Seahawks
The Detroit Lions should be embarrassed after their abysmal performance during Sunday’s 28-14 loss at home to the Seattle Seahawks. After all, the Lions were dominated in all three phases of the game as the Seahawks were clearly the more prepared team and the team that wanted the win the most.
Following the game, Lions defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois spoke to the media and he was clearly not thrilled as he called out his teammates.
