The Detroit Pistons lost promising young power forward Christian Wood during tonight’s loss to the Toronto Raptors at Little Caesars Arena.
During the second quarter, he suffered what the team called a left knee strain and was seen limping into the locker room. He didn’t return to action for the rest of the night.

During his post-game press conference, head coach Dwane Casey said that Wood had been walking on his own afterwards, and that he’ll be evaluated by the team medical staff tomorrow.

Before exiting the game, Wood had put up six points on 1-2 shooting from the field with four free-throws on all four attempts.
