There is no question that the late great Kobe Bryant touched countless athletes with his relentless work ethic and determination.
Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose, a former NBA MVP, credits Bryant for his own trademark work ethic.
“My work ethic is based on what I heard about Kobe. Everything is modeled after him. It’s all from him,” Rose explained.
Of course, the work ethic of Rose certainly can’t be questioned. The fact that he’s worked himself back into playing shape after a number of injuries that would have felled others for much longer is a testament to his will and love of the game.
Kobe Bryant certainly exemplified those trademarks, and they’re living on with Rose.
