When the Detroit Pistons selected former Michigan standout Isaiah Livers in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft, one of the first thoughts that came to mind was that he was going to be reunited with his former head coach, John Beilein.
Beilein is now part of Dwane Casey‘s staff in Detroit and Livers is pumped to be back with his old coach.
Livers recently spoke about seeing Beilein for the first time since he was drafted and he said they “probably hugged for about 1o seconds.”
“I got to see him for the first time yesterday in the gym in the morning. We probably hugged for about 10 seconds, I'm not going to lie,” Livers said.
