DETROIT BASKETBALL is right around the corner and there is certainly some excitement in the air…especially if your name is Detlef Schrempf. (Click here to see what that’s all about!)
Personally, I believe the Detroit Pistons are a lock to qualify for the 2019-2020 NBA Playoffs, despite Las Vegas having the Over/Under for wins set at 37.5. That being said, it would be pretty impressive if the current roster exceeds a 5-seed in the Eastern Conference and even more impressive if they managed to advance past the opening round.

According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, one player who eventually could become available to the Pistons is five-time NBA All-Star point guard, Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors.
Lowe notes that if the Raptors struggle to start the season, Lowry could become a player who ends up on the trading block with the Pistons, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Los Angeles Clippers as possible destinations.
Lowry, who is 33, is coming off a season where he averaged 14.2 points and 8.7 assists for a Raptors team that won the NBA Championship.
What do you think, Nation? Is Lowry a player you would like to see in a Pistons uniform if the opportunity presented itself?
