The Pistons face off tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers after winning in exciting fashion last night in Indiana. The Pistons have been surging as of late and are looking to win their 11th game in their last 13 to pull even closer to a playoff spot before the All-Star Break. Detroit currently sits at 15-25, with the 76ers once again holding a dismal 8-31 record to be 2nd last in the Eastern Conference standings.

The last meeting between these two squads was held in the Palace with the then-struggling Pistons losing 108-101 in Overtime. This time around the 76ers will be facing off against a much improved Pistons team that has been led by a resurging Jodie Meeks, a dominant force in Andre Drummond, and an all-star level tear by Brandon Jennings who continues to shutter the doors of any doubters he has here in the Motor City. Jennings has consistnely shown he deserves the starting spot and will look to take advantage against Michael Carter-Williams tonight. Last matchup, MCW took Jennings to task but this time around the cards seem to be in Jennings’ favor. To give you a glimpse of Jennings’ success during the past five games, his point-assist numbers have been as follows: 37-3, 19-3, 34-10, 20-11, and 14-8. He’s played well and will definitely be someone to keep an eye on.
