On Friday morning, Pistons executive Ed Stefanski joined Matt Dery for his podcast and he made it clear that Drummond was aware that teams were being talked to about a potential trade.
“Emotions are raw after there is a trade. Andre loves Detroit and has been fantastic in the community. He was aware that we were talking to teams about him. I understand his emotions. Down the road he may change his thoughts.” Stafanski told Dery.
Somebody is not telling the truth here! Was Andre blindsided by the trade or was he kept in the loop as Stefanski suggests?
