This caught the attention of Detroit-based rapper Marshall Mathers, better known by his stage name of Eminem.
Mathers gave Stafford a shoutout on his social media account, echoing Stafford's sentiments of using one's platform to speak out:
In addition to having ten No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, Eminem has won 15 Grammy Awards, eight American Music Awards, 17 Billboard Music Awards, an Academy Award and a MTV Europe Music Global Icon Award, and is one of the most influential celebrities who hail from the Motor City.
