Detroit Red Wings announce contract extension for Robby Fabbri

It was one the more shrewd moves by Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman, and it’s paid off in a big way.

And now, he’s not going anywhere.

The Red Wings announced tonight that they’ve inked forward Robby Fabbri to a three year contract extension with an AAV of $4 million:

Fabbri was acquired two years ago from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Jacob de la Rose, and fit in instantly.
