According to the Detroit Red Wings, they have made a pair of roster moves in advance of their matchup vs. the St. Louis Blues.
The Red Wings have recalled defenseman Brian Lashoff from the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins. Additionally, the Red Wings placed defenseman Gustav Lindstrom on injured reserve retroactive to Dec. 4.

Lashoff, 31, is in his 13th season with the Griffins in 2021-22 and has logged three points (2-1-3), a plus-seven rating and 10 penalty minutes in 16 games. Lashoff, who serves as captain of the Griffins and is second in franchise history with 529 games played, has totaled 112 points (28-84-112), a plus-39 rating and 279 penalty minutes since debuting for the team in 2008-09. He helped Grand Rapids win Calder Cup championships in 2013 and 2017 and has totaled 20 points (5-15-20), a plus-three rating and 34 penalty minutes in 75 AHL postseason games. Lashoff has also appeared in parts of seven seasons with the Red Wings since 2012-13, logging 15 points (2-13-15) and 65 penalty minutes in 136 games, also making eight postseason appearances for the club in 2013 and 2014.
