Detroit Red Wings defeat Jets for their first win in 30 days

That sound you heard was the massive piano falling off the backs of the Detroit Red Wings tonight at Little Caesars Arena.

The Detroit Red Wings finally earned a victory after having gone 12 games without one, a full calendar month. Their 5-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets earned them and their fans a collective sigh of relief.

Robby Fabbri scored twice, while Filip Zadina, Darren Helm, and Filip Hronek all tallied. Goaltender Jonathan Bernier made 26 saves.
