As the 2016-2017 Detroit Red Wings season started to wind down, we knew we were not only witnessing the end to an amazing playoff streak but also the final Wings games that would ever be played at the Joe Louis Arena.
In honor of the JLA, the Red Wings have released a trio of videos which will surely tug at your heartstrings.
Part one of the series, titled “The Joe,” focuses on the history of the Joe Louis Arena.
Part two titled, “The Alumni,” is all about the players who donned the Winged Wheel over the years.
And finally, part three of the series is titled “The Fans,” and gives thanks to all of the Red Wings fans throughout the years.
