Bobby Ryan suffered an upper body injury this afternoon against the Columbus Blue Jackets and will not be returning to the game.

Ryan, who signed a one-year deal with Detroit this offseason, has tallied seven goals with seven assists in 32 games played this season, and is an ideal candidate for GM Steve Yzerman to flip at the Trade Deadline to a contending team in exchange for draft capitol.
