The Red Wings will not be getting Hobey Baker Award finalist Ben Meyers after all.
The Minnesota Golden Gophers forward, who was also said to be linked to the Minnesota Wild, has decided to take his talents to the Rocky Mountains and sign with the Colorado Avalanche.
