After qualifying for the NHL Playoffs a whopping 25 seasons in a row, the Detroit Red Wings have now failed to get to the postseason for three-straight years.
But Red Wings’ fans have new hope as Steve Yzerman has returned home.

Yzerman was hired to take over for Ken Holland as GM of the Red Wings and his goal is to build a team that eventually contends for and wins a Stanley Cup.
That being said, the rebuild is expected to take some time and the 2019-2020 odds seem to agree with that as the Red Wings are currently listed at 50-1 to win the Eastern Conference. Only the Ottawa Senators have worse odds at 80-1.
