Detroit Red Wings re-sign forward Dominic Turgeon

Dominic Turgeon has been re-upped for another year.


Detroit Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman has taken care of bringing back another one of the organization's free agents.

Dominic Turgeon has been re-signed to a one year, two-way contract. It will be worth $750,000 at the NHL level, and $115,000 at the AHL level.

Turgeon, who is the son of former NHL All-Star Pierre Turgeon, was drafted by the Red Wings 63rd overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Last year with the Grand Rapids Griffins, he scored 10 goals with 13 assists in 63 games.
