Detroit Red Wings trade Arizona Coyotes for goaltender Eric Comrie

According to the Detroit Red Wings, they have traded defensemen Vili Saarijarvi to the Arizona Coyotes for goaltender Eric Comrie.

Comrie, who is 24, has played in just 5 NHL games since being drafted in the 2nd round of the 2013 NHL Draft. He has not played in a game this season.

Red Wings starter was forced to leave in the first period against the Toronto Maple Leafs with a lower-body (knee) injury. Does this mean he will be out for an extended period of time? If so, backup Jonathan Bernier would become the regular starter.
