Detroit Tigers 2020 season officially over, on track for 3rd overall pick

Thanks to the St. Louis Cardinals defeating the Milwaukee Brewers this afternoon, the Tigers will not be playing a double-header tomorrow.

Their 2020 season has officially come to a close with a 23-35 record, which would have equalled out to 64-98 in a normal 162 games season. According to beat writer Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic, the Tigers are currently on track to land the 3rd overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft, which will be determined by this year's record alone and not last year:

This season was anything but normal, but the Tigers showed us flashes of things to look forward to in the future!
