The Detroit Tigers took care of some housekeeping procedures in the wake of losing 3B coach Chip Hale to the collegiate ranks.
Ramon Santiago will shift to Hale’s old position at 3B, while OF coordinator Kimera Bartee has been promoted to 1B coach. Meanwhile, George Lombard returns to his role as bench coach.

Bartee previously served as 1B coach of the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2017 to 2019.
