Detroit Tigers announce new manager for Toledo Mud Hens

Earlier this morning, the Detroit Tigers announced that former Toledo Mud Hens manager Gary Jones has been promoted to the Major League club, where he will serve as their first base coach for the 2022 season.

Following that news, the Toledo Mud Hens took to Twitter to reveal that Lloyd McClendon will replace Jones as their manager.

As you probably remember, McClendon, who is now 63, has spent time with the Tigers as a coach and manager.
