Detroit Tigers catcher Austin Romine injured after being struck by 97.8 MPH fastball

Catcher Austin Romine left tonight's game in the 9th inning against the Cleveland Indians after being struck in the wrist by a 97.8 MPH fastball. He immediately doubled over in pain, clutching his wrist before going straight down the tunnel with head athletic trainer Doug Teter.

Former Indians catching prospect Eric Haase is now in for Romine.
