Tigers claim Marc Krauss from Tampa Bay

The Detroit Tigers welcome a newcomer to the team on Monday, claiming first baseman Marc Krauss from the Tampa Bay Rays  off of waivers.

Krauss in his 134 big league games since 2013 also has a career .264 OBP, 11 home runs and 40 RBI’s in365 at-bats. He played eleven game for the Los Angeles Angels before being traded to the Tampa Bay Rays on June 25 and appearing in just four games.
