On Tuesday night, following their win over the Milwaukee Brewers, the Detroit Tigers announced they were optioning OF Christin Stewart to their alternate training site in Toledo.

While speaking to reporters about the decision, Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire said that the corresponding move to optioning Stewart would be one that is ‘fun' for the fans.
As soon as Gardenhire made that statement, Tigers fans came out of the woodwork to speculate that the team would be calling up their No. 4 overall prospect, Riley Greene.

Well, within the past half hour or so, the Tigers announced the corresponding roster move and some fans will be disappointed to know that Greene did not get that call. Instead, the Tigers are calling up their No. 7 prospect, Daz Cameron.
Cameron, who is 23, batted just .214 in 120 games with the Toledo Mud Hens in 2019.
