According to reports, Detroit Tigers GM Al Avila is tentatively scheduled to speak with reporters prior to Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox. The meeting will reportedly take place at noon.
Avila has not made it clear exactly why he will be holding the presser but the thought is that it could have something to do with calling up No. 1 pitching prospect Casey Mize to make his Major League debut on Tuesday.

At this point, it seems like just about everybody believes Mize should be up with the Tigers but Avila has continued to preach patience with his top pitching prospect.
