One of the biggest battles of Spring Training for the Detroit Tigers was to see who the starting centerfielder would be. When the dust settled, it was none other than rookie JaCoby Jones who got the nod.
Well, Jones wasted little time making manager Brad Ausmus look like a genius by hitting a towering 3-run home run in his first at-bat of the season on Opening Day against the Chicago White Sox.
