According to a report from Cody Stavenhagen, the Detroit Tigers have hired three more coaches to join manager A.J. Hinch’s staff.
Included in the hires is Scott Coolbaugh, who will be the Tigers hitting coach.
Lombard was the Dodgers first base coach and had interviewed for the Tigers' manager job.
Coolbaugh was assistant hitting coach with the White Sox.
Hale had been third base coach and previously bench coach in Washington.
