On Wednesday, Detroit Tigers great Lou Whitaker turned 64 years old and in honor of him, the Tigers revealed that they will be retiring his No. 1 jersey sometime in 2022.
This is long overdue but it is good to see the Tigers honoring Lou, unlike Hall of Fame voters.

Correct. We've spoken with him and are looking forward to a day when we can pack the ballpark.
