The Detroit Tigers were able to take care of business in the first of their double header against the Minnesota Twins today at Comerica Park, besting their division rivals by an 8-2 score. Detroit was powered by 16 hits from the offense, as well as a solid game from pitcher Matthew Boyd.
The Tigers will now make a few changes for their second matchup of the day against the Twins. Victor Reyes will move to center field, while Cameron Maybin comes in and will play right field. Grayson Greiner will replace Austin Romine for catching duty, while Isaac Paredes comes in for Willi Castro at 3B. Tarik Skubal takes the mound.
