Detroit Tigers make pair of roster moves as Opening Day draws near

On Monday, the Detroit Tigers continued their preparations for Opening Day by playing their final intrasquad game of Summer Camp. Prior to the game, the Tigers announced a couple of roster moves, including clearing RHP Alex Faedo to rejoin the 60-man roster.

It is believed that Faedo was one of the Tigers players who tested positive for COVID-19, but that has not been confirmed.

In addition, the Tigers reportedly optioned catcher Eric Haase to the taxi squad.

The Tigers will open up their 2020 season on Friday in Ohio against the Cincinnati Reds.
