He’s close to joining one of the most exclusive clubs in MLB history, as he’s just 11 swings of the bat away from his 3,000th career hit. But before the business at hand this afternoon against the Boston Red Sox, he kept things on the lighter side.

He was seen borrowing a bike from the grounds crew at Comerica Park and taking it for a quick pre-game spin:
