Following the Detroit Tigers 6-4 win on Saturday over the Cincinnati Reds, the team announced they have optioned RHP David McKay to the club’s alternate training site.
The move is a corresponding one to make room on the 30-man roster for Carson Fulmer, who was claimed off waivers earlier in the day.
McCay appeared in Friday’s Opening Day loss and gave up a home run in 0.1 innings of work.
