According to the Detroit Tigers, they will place Niko Goodrum on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain. The move will officially be announced prior to Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Twins.

Goodrum is currently batting .248 but he is second on the Tigers with 12 home runs and 45 RBIs.
He is also tied for the team lead with a .743 OPS this season.
