In 2018, the Detroit Tigers used their 3rd round pick on infielder Kody Clemens out of the University of Texas.
Just over a year later, Clemens, who is the son of former MLB great Roger Clemens, has been promoted to Double-A.

In 115 games with Single-A Lakeland, Clemens batted .238 with 11 home runs and 59 RBIs while leading the FSL with 42 extra-base hits.
Clemens made his debut with the Erie SeaWolves on Tuesday night, going 0-for-1 with a pair of walks.
