Tuesday’s game between the Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates has been postponed due to rain and the door has been opened for Tigers pitching prospect, Alex Faedo.
Faedo was originally scheduled to start on Tuesday night for the Toledo Mud Hens, but he was scratched and will now make his Major League debut on Wednesday.
Just moments ago, the Tigers announced that Faedo will start Game 2 of their doubleheader against the Pirates.
Congrats, Alex!
The stage is set!
