Sharing is caring!

Within the past hour, Detroit Tigers general manager Al Avila met with the media and announced that he was not only calling up the organization’s No. 1 pitching prospect Casey Mize but that he was also calling up No. 3 pitching prospect, Tarik Skubal.

Just moments ago, the Tigers revealed their rotation for their upcoming series against the White Sox and as you can see, the future is now.

As you can see below, veteran Matthew Boyd will start on Monday, followed by Skubal (Tues), Mize (Wed), and Spencer Turnbull (Thursday).

As far as No. 2 pitching prospect Matt Manning goes, Avila said he will remain in Toledo to work on his control and command.
