Detroit Tigers release lineup, rookie pitcher to make MLB debut

After taking two of three games against the Cincinnati Reds to start the 2020 season, the Detroit Tigers returned home and crapped the bed at Comerica Park on Monday as they fell 100-2 against the Kansas City Royals. (Wait, my son just notified me that it was actually 14-6 but you get the point)

Anyways, the Tigers will look to bounce back on Tuesday when they take on the same Royals team at 7:10 ET.

When the Tigers defense takes the field, rookie pitcher Rony Garcia will make his Major League Debut with all of the regulars in the field behind him.

Garcia, who is 22 years old (22 and 222 days to be exact), was 4-13 with a 4.01 ERA in the New York Yankees Minor League system in 2019. He will be making the start in replacement of Dario Agrazal, who was placed on the injured list on Monday.
