After striking out an American League record 9-straight batters out of the bullpen this past Sunday, Tyler Alexander struggled big time in his first start of the season as the Detroit Tigers fell 8-4 to the Chicago White Sox.
On Wednesday, the Tigers will look to take the series from the White Sox when the teams take the field at 1:10 p.m. ET at Comerica Park.
Just moments ago, the Tigers announced their lineup for today's matchup and as you can see, Jeimer Candelario will get another start at 1B, while Harold Castro gets the nod in CF.
Taking the mound for Detroit will be Matthew Boyd, who is 0-1 with a 9.20 ERA over his first three starts of the 2020 season.
