The Detroit Tigers have announced a few roster moves ahead of their divisional series against the Chicago White Sox.
First and foremost, manager Ron Gardenhire has announced that RHP Jordan Zimmerman, who made his season debut yesterday against the St. Louis Cardinals, won't have a defined role – but would rather play it by ear.

“We're going to ad-lib,” Gardenhire. “We'll find situations to stick him in there.”
Zimmermann went three innings against the Cardinals, striking out two and walking one.
Meanwhile, the team also provided an update on utility man Harold Castro, who has missed the last three weeks with a hamstring injury.
“I don't know exactly how this is going to turn out and when he'll get back,” Gardenhire said.
