Detroit Tigers’ starting pitcher to have surgery

According to reports, Detroit Tigers‘ starting pitcher Matt Moore will have knee surgery this coming Wednesday after it was determined that rehab was not working.

Moore sprained his right knee early in the season during a start against the Kansas City Royals.

Following the injury, Moore had the option to rehab, which he decided to try, but unfortunately, surgery will be the route he goes.

Moore hopes he will be back in 4-6 weeks.
