A-Mize-ing
Casey Mize has been very impressive in his first season in the minor leagues, and he has put up eye-popping numbers to start the season. He was promoted to Double-A just a week ago. Mize’s first start in Erie was one to remember as he twirled a no-hitter. The right-hander posted an ERA of 0.00 for the week over 14 innings pitched, helping him win his first award:

If he continues to put up dominant numbers at the Double-A level, it will only be a matter of time before he is promoted again. When that happens, he will only be one level from donning the Olde English D every fifth day.
