The Detroit Lions made a major splash yesterday, signing former Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson to a one year free-agent contract.

As a Vikings fan growing up, naturally Ragnow is happy to have a player he loved watching in Peterson now as a teammate:
The team also made headlines last week, signing Taylor Decker to a mammoth contract extension. Needless to say, Ragnow and his teammates are happy for him:
“We’re all tickled pink for him,” he said.
It’s officially Game Week for the Lions, as they’re set to get underway this weekend against the Chicago Bears at Ford Field.
