The Detroit Lions are sinking fast, falling into an 0-2 hole to begin the 2020 campaign and doing so in maddeningly familiar fashion, while head coach Matt Patricia continues to feel the heat from the fan base.
Detroit's own Jeff Daniels, an Emmy award winning actor, joined “The Rich Eisen Show” to discuss his thoughts on his favorite football team, and his sentiments are hauntingly similar to what most of us are feeling.

“They break your heart,” he explained. “They don't just lose – they break your heart doing so. It's just – you can't be ahead 23-6; you just know, if you lean towards ‘We're going to win', they're going to get your heart broken. It's just – you think we're cursed, I don't know. It's getting difficult.”
Eisen then asked Daniels if he plans on sticking with the team:
“Well, they're on in the background, let me put it that way,” he responded. “It's hard to sit there leaning forward into the television when you know you're going to get your heart broken. You leave them on in the event that something crazy happens – but generally, these first two games, it's been the same thing.”
