Dez Bryant won’t be getting the opportunity to exact some revenge against the team he starred with for so long.
Less than an hour before kickoff prior to tonight’s matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys, Bryant was pulled off the field to get tested for COVID-19, and his results came back positive.
Needless to say, Bryant wasn’t happy with the development.
“Tell me why they pull me from warming up so I can go get tested… my shit come back positive… I tested positive for Covid WTF,” Bryant tweeted. “The crazy thing is i have the same damn routine…. this s**t do not make sense to me” he tweeted.
He soon appeared to threaten to call it quits for the remainder of the season.
“Yea I’m going to go ahead and call it a quit for the rest of the season… I can’t deal with this”, he tweeted
A source with knowledge of the situation explained that Bryant’s morning PCR test was flagged, which required a subsequent on-site PCR test.
Bryant’s absence won’t do anything to help the Ravens, who are already without Willie Snead and tight end Mark Andrews.
